All About Vikram-S, India's First Private Rocket!

Skyroot Aerospace launched India's first privately made rocket, Vikram-S on a suborbital flight.

Skyroot Aerospace is a startup based in Hyderabad started by Pawan Chandana and Bharath Daka.

It was launched from Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota with support from ISRO and IN-SPACe.

The rocket carried 3 payloads built by AP based N Space Tech India, Chennai-based Space Kids and Armenian BazoomQ Space Research Lab

It was developed by a 200-engineer team within a record time of two years.

Vikram-S is powered by solid fuelled propulsion, cutting-edge avionics and a carbon fibre core structure.
