All About Veer Bal Diwas!

PM Modi announced ‘Veer Bal Diwas’ on 9 January 2022 on the occasion of Prakash Parv of Sri Guru Gobind Singh.

PM announced that December 26, 2023 will be observed as ‘Veer Bal Diwas’.

It is observed as a tribute to the courage of the four ‘Sahibzadas’ of Sikh spiritual leader Guru Gobind Singh.

Gobind Singh sons Zorawar Singh and Fateh Singh were allegedly killed by the Mughals upon the then ruler Aurangzeb’s order.

Zorawar Singh and Sahibzada Fateh Singh were martyred at the young age of just 6 years and 9 years
