All About PMEGP - Prime Minister's Employment Generation Scheme

PMEGP is a Credit linked subsidy scheme to create self employment opportunities.

It generates employment for rural and unemployed youth.

Bank-financed subsidy programme for setting up new micro-enterprise in non-farm sector.

Margin money subsidy on bank loan ranges from 15% - 35% for projects upto Rs. 50 lakh in manufacturing and Rs. 20 lakh in service sector.

Eligibility for PMGEP Scheme: Any individual above 18 years age can apply.
