PM Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana 2026: First-Time Employees Can Get Up to ₹15,000, Check Eligibility
The Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana (PM-VBRY) aims to boost formal employment in India.
Eligible first-time employees joining EPFO-covered jobs can receive up to ₹15,000 as an incentive.
Employees earning up to ₹1 lakh a month may receive one month’s wage, capped at ₹15,000.
The ₹15,000 employee incentive is paid in two instalments instead of one lump-sum payment.
The first instalment becomes payable after completing six months of continuous service.
The second instalment requires 12 months of service and completion of a financial literacy programme.
Employers can also get up to ₹3,000 per month for each additional eligible employee for two years.
Manufacturing employers can receive the incentive for up to four years under specified conditions.
PM-VBRY covers eligible jobs created from August 1, 2025, to July 31, 2027.
The government says over 70 lakh first-time employees entered formal employment under the scheme by June 2026.
New employees should keep their EPFO, UAN and Aadhaar details updated and verify scheme information through official channels.
