IIRF Medical Rankings 2026: Andhra Medical College Ranks 13th, Tops AP
Andhra Medical College (AMC), Visakhapatnam, has secured 13th rank nationally in IIRF Medical College Rankings 2026.
AMC emerged as the highest-ranked medical college from Andhra Pradesh with a score of 937 points.
AIIMS New Delhi retained the top position nationally with a score of 953 points.
AMC also secured the fourth position among medical colleges in South India.
IIRF rankings assess institutions on teaching, research, infrastructure, innovation and graduate outcomes.
AMC recorded its highest score of 159.57 in Research Outcome, including volume, income and reputation.
The college scored 158.47 in Teaching, Learning Resources and Pedagogy.
AMC scored 155.33 in Social Inclusion and 153.67 in Innovative Medical Infrastructure.
Guntur Medical College ranked 50th, followed by Kurnool Medical College at 57th nationally.
Rangaraya Medical College, S.V. Medical College and Government Siddhartha Medical College also featured in the rankings.
Seven AP medical colleges featured among the top 127, while St. Luke’s College of Nursing ranked No. 1 in AP.
