CRPF Sports Quota Recruitment 2026: 521 Head Constable & Constable Posts

The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has announced 521 vacancies for Head Constable (GD) and Constable (GD) posts under the Sports Quota Recruitment 2026.

Application Dates: Online applications will begin on October 12, 2026. Eligible candidates can apply until November 11, 2026, 11:59 PM.

Vacancy Details: There are 182 Head Constable (GD) posts and 339 Constable (GD) posts for eligible male and female sportspersons.

Education Qualification: Candidates applying for Head Constable must have passed Class 12, while Constable applicants must have passed Class 10.

Sports Eligibility: Candidates with recognised achievements in 22 sports disciplines can apply, subject to the specific achievement criteria prescribed for each post.

Age Limit: The general age limit is 18 to 30 years as on August 1, 2026. Applicable age relaxations will be provided to eligible categories.

Salary: Head Constable (GD) posts carry ₹25,500–₹81,100, while Constable (GD) posts offer ₹21,700–₹69,100 under the respective pay levels.

No Written Exam: Selection will involve document verification, Physical Standard Test, sports trials and medical examination, followed by preparation of the merit list.

How to Apply: Visit rect.crpf.gov.in, upload the required sports certificate, complete the application, pay the applicable fee and submit the form before November 11, 2026.
