Bank of Baroda LBO Recruitment 2026: 2,482 Officer Posts, Eligibility & Salary
Bank of Baroda has announced 2,482 regular Local Bank Officer vacancies across multiple states and union territories.
State-wise Vacancies: Gujarat has 1,185 posts, followed by Karnataka with 418 and Maharashtra with 218 vacancies.
Regional Language: Applicants must have reading, writing and speaking proficiency in the official local language of the state or UT they select.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university or institute.
Experience: Applicants need at least one year of officer-level work experience in a scheduled commercial bank.
Age Limit: Candidates should be between 21 and 30 years, with applicable age relaxation for eligible reserved categories.
Application Fee: General, OBC and EWS candidates pay ₹850, while eligible SC, ST, PwBD, ESM and female candidates get concessional fees.
Selection Process: Online objective examination → Regional Language Proficiency Test → Psychometric Assessment → Group Discussion/Personal Interview.
Selected candidates will also undergo document verification and a medical fitness examination as part of the recruitment process.
Salary: LBO officers join JMG/Scale-I with a basic pay of ₹48,480, progressing up to ₹85,920, plus applicable banking allowances and benefits.
Service Bond: Selected officers must serve for three years; leaving before completing the bond period may attract recovery as specified in the recruitment terms.
