Total 398 Junior Assistant & Stenographer Posts Announced

Online applications open from June 22, 2026 to July 6, 2026. (Through the official UKSSSC website.)

Graduates can apply for Junior Assistant vacancies, Graduation is also mandatory for Stenographer Grade-1/PA posts.

Hindi typing speed: 25 WPM is required for Junior Assistants & shorthand speed of 80 WPM is required for Stenographers.

English typing speed of 30 WPM will get preference.

Computer operation knowledge is compulsory for all posts.

Application fee: ₹300 for UR and Uttarakhand OBC candidates. SC, ST, EWS & PwBD candidates need to pay ₹150 only.

Orphan candidates can apply free of cost.

Selection includes Written Exam (140 Marks), Typing/Shorthand Test (60 Marks) & Verification.

+1 mark for each correct answer, -0.25 for wrong answers, and no marks for unanswered questions.

Junior Assistant salary: ₹21,700 to ₹69,100 per month, Stenographer salary can go up to ₹1,42,400 per month.
