Teacher Recruitment 2026: 900 Kannada Teacher Posts, Eligibility & Apply

The Karnataka School Education Department is recruiting General Kannada Teachers for government primary schools.

Selected teachers will teach Kannada to students from Classes 1 to 5.

Candidates must meet the educational qualifications specified in the respective district notification.

Applicants should have secured at least 50% marks in PUC or an equivalent qualification.

Eligible teacher-training qualifications include D.El.Ed, B.El.Ed or Diploma in Education (Special Education), as applicable.

Candidates must also qualify the required Teacher Eligibility Test mentioned in the official notification.

KARTET or CTET-qualified candidates may apply, subject to the conditions specified by the department.
