SSC New Sliding Mechanism 2026: Government Jobs Easier as Vacant Posts Will Be Filled

SSC introduces a new rule to reduce vacant government job seats.

Many SSC posts remain vacant every year even after results.

Some selected candidates skip document verification or do not join.

Earlier, SSC had no waiting list to fill these empty seats.

Vacant posts were moved to the next recruitment cycle.

This caused deserving candidates to lose opportunities.

SSC now introduces the new Sliding Mechanism system.

Results will first be released through the regular process.

Selected candidates must complete Aadhaar verification within 10 days.

Candidates can choose FIX to keep their current allotted post.

Choosing FLOAT may upgrade you to a higher preference post if seats open.
