SSC JE Recruitment 2026: 1,748 Vacancies, Apply Online by September 22

Eligible candidates can apply online from September 2 to September 22, 2026, through the official website ssc.gov.in.

The recruitment offers Group B posts under Level-6 of the 7th Pay Commission, with a salary of ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400.

Candidates must complete the new SSC One-Time Registration (OTR); OTR created earlier through ssc.nic.in will not be valid.

After OTR, applicants can log in, select the SSC JE 2026 application link, enter details and upload the required documents.

The application fee is ₹100, while women, SC, ST, PwBD and Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempt from payment.

The fee can be paid until September 23, 2026, while the application correction window will remain open from September 28 to 30.

JE eligibility varies by post, with relevant Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Computer Science, IT or Telecommunications qualifications required.

Applicants must generally be at least 18 years old, with the maximum age set at 30 years for most posts and 32 years for specified posts.

SSC JE vacancies are spread across organisations including BRO, CPWD, MES, DoT, Central Water Commission and IMD.

Paper-I is tentatively scheduled for October-November 2026, followed by Paper-II, tentatively planned for December 2026.

Candidates should keep Aadhaar, photographs, signatures, educational certificates and applicable category documents ready before applying at ssc.gov.in.
