SBC Group C Recruitment 2026: Apply for 10 Vacancies in Visakhapatnam
The Shipbuilding Centre (SBC) has announced recruitment for 10 Group C posts.
Vacancies include Construction Assistant ‘A’, Construction Handler, Fire Engine Driver and CMT Driver.
Eligible Indian candidates can apply online from August 22 to September 14, 2026.
The last date to submit the application and pay the fee is September 14, 2026, by 11 PM.
The tentative Computer-Based Examination is scheduled for October 2026.
CA ‘A’ applicants need Class 10, relevant ITI/NAC or equivalent qualification and 2 years of experience.
CH candidates need Class 10 and a relevant ITI trade certificate from a recognised institute.
Fire Engine Driver applicants need Class 10, an HMV licence, motor-mechanism knowledge and 3 years of heavy-vehicle driving experience.
CMT Driver applicants need Class 10, an LMV licence, motor-mechanism knowledge and 3 years of driving experience.
The general age limit is 18–27 years, with applicable relaxations for reserved and eligible categories.
The application fee is ₹350 for applicable candidates, while SC, ST, PwBD, ex-servicemen and female candidates are exempt.
