Recruitment 2026: 787 Touring Veterinary Officer Posts, Salary Up to ₹1.67 Lakh

Eligible candidates can apply online through the BTSC portal until October 23, 2026.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a recognised B.V.Sc. & A.H. or equivalent degree from an eligible institution registered with the Veterinary Council of India.

Category-wise vacancies include 228 UR, 55 EWS, 207 SC, 13 ST, 195 EBC, 78 BC and 11 BC Women posts.

Age Limit: Candidates must be 21 to 37 years old as of August 1, 2026, with applicable relaxation for reserved categories.

Salary: Selected Touring Veterinary Officers will receive ₹53,100 to ₹1,67,800 per month, along with applicable allowances and benefits.

Application Fee: Candidates are required to pay an ₹100 application fee to complete the registration process.

Selection Process: The written examination carries 75 marks and is conducted for two hours, with 0.25 marks deducted for each incorrect answer.

Relevant professional experience will also contribute to the merit score. Eligible veterinary graduates should complete their application before October 23, 2026.
