Police Launches Internship Scheme 2026: Eligibility, Duration & How to Apply

UG, PG and PhD law students from India and abroad can apply.

Applicants must have scored at least 60% in Class 12.

Selection will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

Each batch will have a maximum of 100 interns.

Interns will gain practical exposure to policing and criminal justice.

The programme covers forensic science, cyber law and legal subjects.

Interns can assist with legal research, data analysis and report writing.

Opportunities are available in Crime Branch, Traffic, Cyber Crime and Legal Branch.

The internship is unpaid and offers practical career-focused experience.

The internship lasts at least 45 days and can extend up to 3 months.
