NIC Winter Internship 2026: ₹20,000 Stipend, Eligibility & Apply Online
The National Informatics Centre (NIC), under MeitY, has announced its two-month Winter Internship Programme 2026.
The internship runs from December 1, 2026, to January 31, 2027, in person at NIC headquarters in New Delhi.
Selected interns will receive ₹10,000 per month, amounting to a total stipend of ₹20,000 for two months.
The programme offers 50 seats and exposure to technologies such as blockchain, cybersecurity, cloud computing, DevOps and data analytics.
Eligible applicants must be enrolled in a relevant technical or computer science-related course and have at least 60% marks in their last completed qualifying examination.
Eligible courses include BE/BTech third year, MCA second year, and first-year ME/MTech, MSc Computer Science and MSc IT students, subject to the official criteria.
Other eligible categories may include lateral-entry engineering students, dual-degree students and specified DoEACC B-Level candidates.
Interns who successfully complete the programme will receive a certificate; an extension of up to one month may be possible under applicable conditions.
