KVS & NVS Salary Structure 2026: 7th Pay Commission, In-Hand Pay, Allowances

KVS and NVS employees are paid under the 7th Central Pay Commission. Along with basic pay, they also receive Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Transport Allowance (TA).

1. Principal (Level 12) - Basic Pay: ₹78,800 – ₹2,09,200, Approx. Gross Salary: ₹1,25,000+

2. Vice Principal (Level 10) - Basic Pay: ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500, Approx. Gross Salary: ₹90,000+

3. PGT (Level 8) - Basic Pay: ₹47,600 – ₹1,51,100, Approx. Gross Salary: ₹75,000+

4. TGT (Level 7) - Basic Pay: ₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400, Approx. Gross Salary: ₹70,000+

5. PRT (Level 6) - Basic Pay: ₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400, Approx. Gross Salary: ₹55,000+

6. Librarian (Level 7) - Basic Pay: ₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400, Approx. Gross Salary: ₹70,000+

7. ASO / Finance Officer (Level 7) - Basic Pay: ₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400, Approx. Gross Salary: ₹70,000+

8. MTS / Lab Attendant (Level 1) - Basic Pay: ₹18,000 – ₹56,900, Approx. Gross Salary: ₹30,000+
