IIT JAM 2027 Registration: Apply from Sept 12, Documents Required & Fee
Apply Online — Candidates can submit the JAM 2027 application through the official IIT JAM website. The last date to apply is October 12, 2026.
Who Can Apply? — Candidates who have completed their undergraduate degree or will appear for their final qualifying-degree examination in 2027 can apply.
JAM 2027 Exam Date — The examination will be conducted on February 14, 2027, in two sessions.
Exam Timings — The Forenoon session will be held from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, while the Afternoon session will run from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
One or Two Test Papers — Candidates can appear for one or two Test Papers. Those choosing two papers must select subjects scheduled in different sessions.
Keep Your Documents Ready — Candidates should prepare their Class 10 certificate/marksheet, recent photograph and signature before beginning the application.
Category Documents — Candidates belonging to applicable categories should keep their category certificate ready. PwD candidates should also have a valid PwD certificate and UDID details.
Signature Requirements — The signature should be made using black or dark blue ink inside a 2 cm × 7 cm rectangular box on white paper.
Application Fee — Female/SC/ST/PwD candidates pay ₹1,000 for one paper and ₹1,350 for two papers. Other candidates pay ₹2,000 and ₹2,700, respectively.
