IGNOU Recruitment 2026: 43 Professor, Associate Professor & Assistant Professor Posts
The vacancies include 21 Professor posts, 16 Associate Professor posts and 6 Assistant Professor posts across various IGNOU Schools of Studies.
Recruitment opportunities are available in disciplines including Humanities, Social Sciences, Sciences, Management, Law, Health Sciences, Journalism and more.
The online application process started on September 20, 2026, and eligible candidates can apply until October 10.
After submitting the online application, candidates must send a hard copy with supporting documents to IGNOU's Academic Coordination Division by October 30.
Hard copies should be sent to the Director, Academic Coordination Division, IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi–110068.
The selection process will include application scrutiny, document verification and preparation of the merit list as per the recruitment rules.
Selected Professors will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹1,44,200 to ₹2,18,200.
Associate Professors can receive ₹1,31,400 to ₹2,17,100, while Assistant Professors will get ₹57,700 to ₹1,82,400 per month.
