Group 2, 2A Notification 2026 Released: Check Eligibility, Dates & Application Details
Group 2: 41 vacancies for posts that include an interview-based selection process.
Group 2A: 780 vacancies for non-interview posts across various departments.
Application Start: August 11, 2026 | Last Date: September 9, 2026, up to 11:59 PM.
Correction Window: Candidates can make corrections in their applications from September 13 to 15, 2026.
Prelims Exam: November 1, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM in offline OMR mode.
Eligibility: Candidates must hold a graduation degree from a recognised university to apply.
Age Limit: Unreserved candidates must be 18–32 years as of July 1, 2026; several reserved categories have no maximum age limit.
How to Apply: Visit TNPSC, log in to your One-Time Registration profile, select Combined Civil Services Examination-II and click Apply Now.
Upload the required documents, pay the application fee and submit the form. Save the confirmation page for future reference.
Selection Process: Preliminary Exam → Mains Written Exam → Certificate Verification & Counselling. The Prelims has no negative marking.
