DOST Phase-I 2026 Seat Allotment Full Details: BCom Emerges as Top Choice in Telangana Degree Admissions
DOST Phase-I seat allotment results announced
56,147 students secured seats in Telangana degree colleges.
A total of 84,610 students registered for undergraduate admissions this year.
Out of them, 61,543 candidates exercised web options in Phase-I counselling.
36,634 students secured seats in their first-choice college and course combination.
Another 19,513 students got allotments through second and later preferences.
Around 5,396 students did not get seats in the first phase of counselling.
BCom emerged as the most preferred course with 19,015 admissions.
Physical Sciences and Life Sciences recorded 14,394 and 9,815 allotments respectively.
Arts courses saw 6,587 admissions, while 4,186 students chose BBA programmes.
BCA programmes recorded 1,828 admissions, and integrated PG courses also saw strong demand.
Government autonomous colleges registered the highest admissions with 19,774 allotments.
Students allotted seats must complete the online self-reporting and admission process before the deadline.
