B.Tech After 10th: New 6-Year Engineering Course, Eligibility & Admission 2026
Big change in engineering: Now pursue B.Tech right after 10th grade!
Traditionally, students take JEE Main after 12th for engineering admissions.
Top 2.5 lakh candidates qualify for JEE Advanced to enter IITs.
Now, a new option removes the need to wait until 12th grade.
Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University introduces a 6-year B.Tech program after 10th.
Students can enroll immediately after completing Class 10.
Course duration: 6 years → Full B.Tech degree. (Earlier, only 4-year B.Tech after 12th was available.)
This new course creates early entry into engineering careers.
Admissions for 2026–27 begin from May 4.
Over 4,000 diploma seats and multiple B.Tech seats available.

New skill-based courses also introduced.
Courses: Mobile Manufacturing and Plastic Technology, Welding, Semiconductor, and Wireless Communication.
