APPSC Hostel Welfare Officer Recruitment 2026: 73 Vacancies, Eligibility, Exam Pattern & Dates
APPSC has released a brief notification for the recruitment of Hostel Welfare Officer Grade-II posts.
A total of 73 vacancies will be filled across the BC Welfare, Tribal Welfare and Social Welfare departments.
BC Welfare Department: 29 posts | Tribal Welfare Department: 23 posts | Social Welfare Department: 21 posts.
Eligible candidates can apply online through the official APPSC website from October 9, 2026.
The last date to submit the online application is October 29, 2026, up to 11:59 PM.
Detailed notification covering age limit, educational qualifications, salary and reservation-wise vacancies will be released before or by the application start date.
The selection process includes an objective-type written examination conducted in two papers.
Paper I: General Studies & Mental Ability — 150 questions and 150 marks.
Paper II: Common Subject (Education) — 150 questions and 150 marks.
The exam has negative marking, with 1/3 mark deducted for every incorrect answer; candidates should check the detailed notification for complete information.
