APPSC Horticulture Officer Recruitment 2026: 37 Vacancies, Apply Online by October 27
APPSC has notified 37 Horticulture Officer posts under Notification No. 19/2026, with a pay scale of ₹54,060–₹1,40,540.
The 37 vacancies are spread across six zones: Zone I – 7, Zone II – 6, Zone III – 7, Zone IV – 7, Zone V – 6 and Zone VI – 4.
Candidates need a four-year BSc or BSc (Hons) in Horticulture from a recognised university or an ICAR-accredited university.
The age limit is 18–44 years as on July 1, 2026, with age relaxation available for reserved categories, PwBD, ex-servicemen and eligible government employees.
Apply online through the APPSC website after completing OTPR registration; the application must be saved and submitted to generate the payment link.
The recruitment exam includes General Studies and Mental Ability, Horticulture-I and Horticulture-II, carrying a total of 450 marks with negative marking.
The Computer Proficiency Test carries 100 marks and tests office automation skills; candidates must secure the prescribed qualifying marks.
Selection will be based on written-exam merit, subject to qualifying the Computer Proficiency Test; the exam will be conducted at four centres in Andhra Pradesh.
