WB Gram Panchayat Recruitment 2026: Apply for 11,000+ Vacancies, Eligibility & Salary Details
WB Gram Panchayat Recruitment 2026 registration process has officially begun.
More than 11,000 vacancies will be filled across West Bengal Panchayat bodies.
Candidates can register through the WBPRMS portal from June 17, 2026.
Recruitment covers Gram Panchayats, Panchayat Samitis and Zilla Parishads.
Posts include Karmee, Sahayak, DEO, Secretary, Assistant and Clerk positions.
Vacancies increased significantly from the earlier estimate of 6,500 posts.
Class 8 pass candidates can apply for Gram Panchayat Karmee posts.
Higher qualifications including Madhyamik, Higher Secondary and Graduation are required for various posts.
Applicants must know Bengali or Nepali in designated hill regions.
Age limit is 18–40 years, with relaxation for reserved categories.
Selection includes a written exam, interview, skill test and document verification.
Monthly salaries range from ₹17,000 to ₹92,100 depending on the post.
