UPSC Prelims Cut Off 2026: Category Wise Expected GS Cut Off Marks for General, OBC, SC, ST

UPSC Prelims 2026 held on May 24 in two shifts across India.

UPSC Prelims includes GS Paper and qualifying CSAT Paper.

CSAT requires minimum 33% marks i.e. 66 out of 200.

Only GS Paper marks decide Prelims qualification status.

General category expected cut off is 85–90 marks. (2025 Cut Off - 92.66)

EWS category expected cut off may remain around 80–85. (2025 Cut Off - 89.34)

OBC category expected cut off is likely between 84–90. (2025 Cut Off - 92)

SC category expected cut off can stay around 80–84 marks. (2025 Cut Off - 84)

ST category expected cut off is expected between 78–82 marks. (2025 Cut Off - 82.66)

In 2025, General category official cut off was 92.66 marks.

Candidates clearing Prelims will appear for UPSC Mains 2026 exam.
