UPSC ESE 2027 Notification Out: 480 Vacancies, Exam Dates & Apply Online

UPSC has released the Engineering Services Examination 2027 notification on September 16, 2026.

The recruitment drive is expected to fill approximately 480 engineering service posts across four disciplines.

UPSC ESE 2027 applications opened on September 16 and candidates can apply until October 6, 2026, up to 6 PM.

The Engineering Services Preliminary Examination 2027 is scheduled to be conducted on January 31, 2027.

The UPSC ESE 2027 Main Examination is scheduled for June 18, 2027.

The vacancies cover Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering disciplines.

Around 480 vacancies are available, including 19 posts reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities.

Eligible engineering graduates can apply online through the official UPSC Online Application Portal.

New applicants need to create an account and complete the required universal registration before submitting the application.

Candidates should carefully check the official notification for age limit, educational qualifications, fees and other eligibility conditions.
