Telangana Schools 2026-27: 10 Bag-Less Days for Classes 1 to 10, Check Dates & Activities
Classes I to X students will get special days without the usual burden of school bags and routine textbook learning.
The initiative aims to make learning more joyful, interactive, practical and stress-free for students.
Schools can organise science experiments, educational field trips, surveys, model-making and skits.
Local professionals and artisans may be invited to introduce students to different trades and vocational skills.
Sports, gardening and other physical activities will also be encouraged as part of experiential learning.
Activities will be planned according to students’ age, interests and the resources available in their local communities.
Schools must prepare annual plans in advance to ensure activities are educational, safe and properly supervised.
Bag-less days are scheduled on the third Saturday of September, November, December, February and March.
The designated dates are September 19, November 21, December 19, February 20 and March 20, creating 10 experiential learning days.
