Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2026: 1,000+ ICF Vacancies, Eligibility & Stipend

ICF Chennai has opened apprenticeship opportunities for freshers and Ex-ITI candidates under the Apprentices Act, 1961.

Applications are open from August 8 to September 7, 2026, so candidates should apply before the deadline.

Ex-ITI candidates generally need Class 10 with 50% marks plus a relevant National Trade Certificate.

Freshers can apply for selected trades such as Fitter, Electrician, Machinist, Carpenter, Painter and Welder.

MLT applicants need Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology for Radiology and Pathology trades.

The age limit is generally 15–24 years for ITI candidates and 15–22 years for freshers.

Monthly stipend ranges from ₹8,200 for Class 10 freshers to ₹9,600 for Class 12 freshers and Ex-ITI candidates.
