NMMSS Scholarship 2026-27: Application Deadline Extended, Apply by October 31

The Ministry of Education has extended the NMMSS scholarship application deadline for the 2026-27 academic session.

Eligible students can submit their applications online through the National Scholarship Portal at scholarships.gov.in.

Revised Dates: Application Deadline – October 31, 2026; Institute Verification – November 15, 2026; District Verification – November 30, 2026.

Eligibility: Students must secure at least 55% marks in Class 8, with a 5% relaxation for SC and ST students.

Family Income Limit: The annual parental income must not exceed ₹3.5 lakh.

Applicants must study as regular students in government, government-aided or local body schools and qualify in the state-level selection examination.

Important Reminder: Complete One-Time Registration (OTR) and submit your NMMSS application before October 31, 2026, to avoid last-minute issues.
