NMMS Scholarship 2026: Apply by August 31, ₹12,000 Annual Scholarship
Government and grant-in-aid schools in Ahmedabad have been asked to complete fresh and renewal NMMS applications by August 31.
The applications must be submitted through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) within the deadline.
Eligible students in Classes 9 to 12 can receive a ₹12,000 annual scholarship from the Government of India.
Students selected on the basis of the NMMS examination merit must apply on the portal every year to continue receiving the scholarship.
Students newly admitted to Class 9 must submit fresh applications for the scholarship.
Eligible students studying in Classes 10 to 12 must complete their renewal applications by August 31.
Facial authentication is mandatory for the NMMS scholarship application process.
Schools must also verify eligible NMMS students who have transferred from other schools or districts.
DEOs have warned that principals may be held responsible if an eligible student misses the scholarship due to school negligence or pending action.
A special guidance camp on the online application process will be held at HA Patel School, Sabarmati, from 10:30 am to 2 pm.
Schools can seek help from expert teachers and technical teams in Ahmedabad's East and West zones to complete applications on time.
