NIC Recruitment 2026: 376 Scientific & Technical Assistant Posts, Apply Online

The National Informatics Centre (NIC) has announced 376 Scientific/Technical Assistant-A vacancies.

Computer Science & IT — 300 posts; Electronics & Communication Engineering — 26 posts.

Data Science & Artificial Intelligence — 50 posts.

Candidates need a relevant BE/BTech, MSc, MS or MCA qualification.

A valid GATE score from 2024, 2025 or 2026 is mandatory.

Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400.

The upper age limit is 30 years for UR/EWS, 33 for OBC and 35 for SC/ST candidates.

Selection will be based on qualifications, GATE score and document verification.

The application fee is ₹800 for General candidates; SC/ST/PwD and women candidates are exempt.

Online applications will open on September 1, 2026.

The last date to apply is September 30, 2026. Eligible candidates should apply before the deadline.
