JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Applications Started | Eligibility, Papers & JEE Advanced Details

Students who appeared for JEE Main Session-1 can also apply for Session-2.

Login using your Session-1 Application Number and Password.

Select paper, exam medium, preferred exam city, and enter qualification details.

Pay the exam fee—no need to re-enter other personal details.

New candidates must register by following instructions in the official information bulletin.

Filling more than one application is strictly prohibited. Strict action will be taken if multiple applications are detected.

Paper-1 is for B.Tech admissions in NITs and IIITs across India.

Paper-2A is for B.Arch, and Paper-2B is for B.Planning courses.

For candidates appearing in both sessions, the best score will be considered for ranking.

Over 13 lakh students appeared for JEE Main Session-1 nationwide. Only the top 2.5 lakh candidates qualify to appear for JEE Advanced.

Top JEE Advanced rank holders will get IIT admissions through JoSAA counselling.
