Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2026: 365 Vacancies, Apply Online by October 21

Eligible male and female Indian citizens can apply online through ssc.gov.in from October 6 to October 21.

Navik (GD) candidates need Class 12 with Mathematics and Physics, while Navik (DB) requires Class 10 qualification.

Hygienist-I applicants need matriculation, ITI or equivalent qualification, while Yantrik candidates need Class 10 plus a relevant AICTE-approved diploma.

The prescribed age limits vary by post and batch, with specific date-of-birth ranges mentioned in the recruitment notification.

Stage I is a one-hour computer-based test with 100 questions, one mark each and no negative marking.

Candidates shortlisted for Stage II must undergo biometric verification, Physical Fitness Test, Assessment and Adaptability Test, and document verification.

The Physical Fitness Test includes a 1.6-km run, squats and push-ups/sit-ups, with separate standards for male and female candidates.

Qualified candidates will progress through merit-based shortlisting, INS Chilka testing and final verification of original educational and other documents.

Yantrik posts offer ₹29,200 basic pay, while Navik and Hygienist-I posts offer ₹21,700, plus allowances and benefits including medical care, accommodation, leave, pension and insurance.
