Indian Army SSC Tech Recruitment 2026: 350 Officer Posts for B.Tech Graduates, No Written Exam, Salary Up to ₹1.5 Lakh

The Indian Army has announced 350 SSC (Tech) officer vacancies for engineering graduates.

No written exam—candidates are shortlisted based on B.Tech academic marks.

Shortlisted applicants must clear the 5-day SSB Interview and medical examination.

Engineering branches include Mechanical, Civil, Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, and Others.

Selected candidates will undergo 49 weeks of training at OTA Gaya from April 2027.

During training, candidates receive a monthly stipend of ₹56,100.

After training, candidates are commissioned as Lieutenants in the Indian Army.

The total monthly salary with allowances can reach around ₹1.5 lakh.

Promotion opportunities include Captain, Major, and Lieutenant Colonel with service.

Eligibility: BE/B.Tech graduates in the notified disciplines; IT and M.Sc. Computer Science are also eligible for selected posts.

Applicants must be born between 1 April 2000 and 31 March 2007.

Women engineering graduates can also apply under the dedicated SSC Tech Women entry.

Application deadline: 7 August 2026 (Men) and 6 August 2026 (Women).
