India Post GDS Recruitment 2026: Notification released for 25,000+ BPM, ABPM and Dak Sevak posts across postal circles.

Notification Out: India Post released GDS Online Engagement Schedule-II, July 2026, on August 27, 2026.

OTR Dates: One-Time Registration (OTR) will be open from August 31 to September 19, 2026.

Application Starts: Candidates can apply and pay the fee online from September 2, 2026, at 5 PM.

Last Date: The online application window closes on September 21, 2026, at 5 PM.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Class 10 with Mathematics and English and know the relevant local language.

Other Requirements: Applicants must have basic computer knowledge and cycling skills as prescribed for GDS posts.

Age Limit: Candidates must be 18 to 40 years old as on September 21, 2026, with applicable age relaxation.

Application Fee: UR, OBC and EWS male candidates pay ₹100, while eligible SC, ST, PwBD, female and transwomen candidates are exempt.

Salary & Work Hours: BPMs get ₹12,000–₹29,380, while ABPMs and Dak Sevaks get ₹10,000–₹24,470, for 4–5 hours of daily work.

Selection Process: Candidates will be shortlisted through a Class 10 merit list, followed by document verification, medical examination and formalities.
