DRDO Apprenticeship 2026: ITI Candidates Can Apply for Stipend Up to ₹1.20 Lakh
Apply by October 13 — The application process is open for eligible ITI candidates across various trades.
Training at DRDO-DIPR — The apprenticeship will be conducted at the Defence Institute of Psychological Research (DIPR), Delhi.
7 ITI Trades Available — Opportunities are available in Photographer, Steward, DTP Operator, Secretariat Assistant, COPA, IT/ITESM and Multimedia Web Page Designer trades.
12 Months of Training — Selected candidates will undergo a one-year apprenticeship programme, which cannot be extended.
Stipend Up to ₹10,560 Per Month — IT/IT ESM and Photographer apprentices will receive ₹10,560 monthly, while other trades will receive ₹9,600.
No Written Exam — Selection will primarily be based on ITI course marks, with a category-wise merit list prepared by DRDO.
Interview May Be Held — Whether an interview is conducted will depend on the number of applications received.
Who Can Apply? — Candidates with an ITI certificate in the relevant trade can apply, but apprenticeship portal registration is mandatory.
Apply Online Before October 13 — Register on the official Apprenticeship India portal, complete the application and submit it before the deadline.
