CAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria Explained: Qualification, Marks, Final Year Students & Reservation for IIM MBA Admission
Exam Date: CAT 2026 will be held on November 29, 2026.
Registration Dates: Apply online from August 3 to September 15, 2026.
Basic Qualification: A bachelor's degree from a recognised university is mandatory.
Minimum Marks: General/EWS/NC-OBC candidates need 50% or equivalent CGPA.
Reserved Categories: SC/ST/PwBD candidates require a minimum of 45% marks.
Final-Year Students: Students in the final year of graduation can also apply.
Admission Condition: Selected final-year candidates must submit degree completion proof.
Professional Degrees: CA, CS, CMA/ICWA, and FIAI candidates are also eligible.
CGPA Conversion: Use your university's conversion formula or calculate as per CAT rules.
Reservation Policy: CAT follows Government of India reservation guidelines.
