Azim Premji Scholarship 2026: Girls to Get ₹30,000 Annual Aid, Check Eligibility

The Azim Premji Foundation has expanded its scholarship programme to support female students pursuing higher education in Delhi.

Under the scheme, up to 20,000 female students in Delhi will receive scholarships this year.

Selected students will receive ₹30,000 every year from the first year of college until they complete their degree or diploma.

Depending on the course duration, a student can receive total financial assistance of up to ₹1.5 lakh.

Students who completed their schooling in 21 eligible states and Union Territories can apply for the scholarship.

Applicants must have completed both Class 10 and Class 12 from a government school.

Students must also have secured admission to the first year of an undergraduate degree or diploma at a recognised institution in India.

The scholarship programme was launched in 2024, and more than 1.9 lakh female students have received assistance since its inception.

The Foundation plans to expand the programme nationwide and aims to support 5 lakh female students every year.

Applications are completely online and free of cost, with eligible students able to apply through the official Azim Premji Foundation website.

The Foundation says the scholarship aims to reduce financial barriers and help more girls pursue higher education and build a better future.
