AISSEE 2027 Registration Begins: Sainik School Admission for Classes 6 and 9

Sainik School Admission 2027: NTA has started online registration for the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) 2027.

Admissions Open: Students can apply for admission to Classes 6 and 9 through the official AISSEE 2027 application portal.

Last Date to Apply: Parents can submit online applications until December 2, 2026, through the official website.

Entrance Exam Date: The AISSEE 2027 examination is scheduled to be conducted nationwide on January 31, 2027.

Admission Process: Admission to Sainik Schools is based on performance in the mandatory AISSEE entrance examination.

Age Eligibility: Candidates must satisfy the prescribed age criteria as of March 31, 2027, depending on their chosen class.

Application Fee: The application fee is ₹850 for General, OBC and other categories, while SC/ST candidates must pay ₹700.

Class 6 Exam Pattern: The examination carries 300 marks, with 150 questions and a duration of 150 minutes.

Class 6 Subjects: Mathematics carries 50 questions, while Intelligence, General Knowledge and Language have 25 questions each.

Class 9 Exam Pattern: The examination consists of 150 questions for 400 marks, with a duration of 180 minutes.

Class 9 Mathematics: Mathematics carries the highest weightage, with 50 questions worth four marks each.
